Interior Design
All pads offer fully designed interiors including, carpets, floor finishes, fittings, colours and integrated matching appliances; however if you would like to introduce, or create, a very much more personal style that reflects where you want to be today, we have pleasure in offering an additional service.
Run by Judith Blenkharn, b-Interiors, in association with pad55, offers bespoke interior design services. Judith, herself a mother of grown up children, has had first hand experience of both home and lifestyle transition, whilst also fulfilling her own design and personal aspirations. Influenced by modern trends but with a quirky twist, Judith will work with you to fully realize and reflect your personality and lifestyle in your new pad.
Judith works with a number of high quality local suppliers, such as Duluce, Robert Mason, Snowhome, Domaine, TVC Electrical, York Blinds etc, through whom she can source a wide range of products. So, to assist with and compliment your own ideas, choose from any or all of the three following options:
Option A
Using concept boards as a start point for discussion and ideas in order to establish a brief, choose from a consultation at Judith’s office in Malton, your own home, or, on site in Pickering. Delivery of the brief using mood boards to illustrate the feel of your pad using extracts from magazines, trade info, actual samples and 3D sketch models.

Option B
This involves assistance with sourcing materials and fittings, including: colour scheme, window treatments, soft furnishings, furniture, lighting and electronic items - ensuring co-ordination with pad55’s “hard” interior options package e.g. kitchen type/style, surface treatments.

Option C
This involves the project management of the delivery, installation and arrangement of all the various items to your pad following handover to you. Thus, your pad can be newly furnished on your behalf enabling you to simply walk in and get on with your life.

Fees
- Initial discussions and brief confirmation: £200 + out of area travel expenses
- Delivery of the brief: £750 + out of area travel expenses

- Per half day: £150
- Full day: £250
*Assumes a 60-mile radius including York, Leeds and Manchester before travel expenses become due.
